Job Description
Upon joining us, you’ll receive full training across our state of the art production machinery and balers.
Your day to day:
You will be working with a high performing, talented, and supportive team
Prior to machine operation, you will conduct pre-use lifting and equipment guarding checks to ensure absolute safety.
Operate our high speed/high volume converting machinery, you’ll conduct quality checks, performing electronic or manual adjustments as required.
Within permitted scope, you will rectify any defects or minor issues in the first instance before escalating to a Shift Engineer or Cell Leader/Shift Manager.
You will regularly collate waste paper product into balers which will be delivered in batches to our Mills to be recycled.
Continuous Improvement is embedded into everything we do, therefore you will seek out opportunities for cost reductions and added value where appropriate.
During breaks, you will have access to a common area where you can eat and rest prior to returning to your workday.
Job Requirements
What we need from you:
Technical and proactive approach, setting our machines safely and correctly, and carrying out basic fault finding and minor PPMs to reduce downtime and sustain machine reliability.
Experience in a Converting or similar FMCG environment.
