  • Regional Sales Manager – North West

    What we are looking for

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, focused and experienced sales professional to join our team. You will be responsible for the Northern West region. Candidates must live in this part of the country.

    Responsibilities

    • The Management of designated regional accounts and delivering profitable added growth by utilising the end-user pipeline process and distributor sales personnel
    • Development of the Northwood branded portfolio in the designated regional territory (eg. Raphael Systems, Whisper, Optimum, Essentials, Perform and ProWipers products)

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are looking for a shift manager to join our manufacturing team at our Telford site. The ideal candidate will have previous production or operational management experience.  You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality and safety objectives of your shifts production activities are achieved, in compliance with Group Policies.

    Our shift leaders must be able to work with both managers and operational colleagues. You also need strong organization and time management skills to join our team. A good communicator. You must be patient, efficient and motivational.    As well as flexible, dynamic, with the ability to multitask and get things done.  An individual who is patient and able to remain calm in stressful situations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • You will lead your team of Production Operatives by motivating, teaching, guiding, and supporting them to achieve the daily targets
    • Lead by example enabling them to model our values and guiding principles 
    • Manage your shift using the performance management framework work to develop operators as our business requirement
    • Work collaboratively with the maintenance office in order to guarantee the best possible production efficiency
    • Promote, innovative solutions to maximize efficiency were possible with the support of management
    • Manage the coordination of size/production/setup changes in compliance with times and methods as required
    • You are responsible for reaching pre-defined objectives in compliance with Safety and Environmental Standards

    What we are looking for

    Northwood is a group of associated companies that provide the manufacturing, supply and transportation of paper hygiene and wiping products for both the away-from-home and consumer market.  We have an exciting opportunity for General Site Operatives to join our Paper Mill at Disley to operate our larger paper making equipment.  We require 2 x General Operatives to work Monday to Friday and 2 x General Operative to work our rotating shift pattern. We need motivated self-starters who will be proactive in taking ownership of their area. This means working to high standards – encouraging others to keep those same standards, with an eye for detail to pick up on possibly quality challenges. 

    Responsibilities

    • Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental Procedures and Regulations
    • Achieve output Targets set through effective teamworking

    Desirable Experience

    Responsibilities

    Job description

    You are responsible for operating forklifts trucks to move goods around the site including production and our warehouses. To unload and load deliveries, stacking and transport various items and pallets for storage and delivery.

    What are We Looking For?

    • Previous FLT experience of loading and unloading double deck trailers
    • Pallet distribution experience
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

    Responsibilities

    • Taking Pallets from the end of production lines and putting into the required warehouse location
    • Loading various vehicles
    • Scanning of Pallets from production lines via RF Gun (WMS System) and putting away
    • Scanning of pallets from locations via RF Gun (WMS System) when picking into marshalling lanes
    • Scanning of pallets from marshalling lanes via RF Gun (WMS System) when loading trailers
    • Scanning of pallets via RF Gun (WMS System) for all finished goods stock movements
    • Report ALL Scanning anomalies to Warehouse Controller via Pallet Investigation Form
    • Provide the correct pallets types required for production orders (production to advise pallet types)
    • Daily / Weekly Clean: When line / lines are stopped for cleaning, clean under the palletiser, conveyors and traffic area by the line / lines that have stopped, also Clean the warehouses (B5, B6, B7 & A4) Areas
    • Cover colleagues for all FLT Duties as required
    • Basic Operation of palletiser System and Conveyor
    • Load trailers as instructed / required
    • Saturday and Sunday: Assist with finished Goods stocktaking manually and via RF Gun Enquires of warehouse lanes
    • Taking waste bails into the waste area

    Desirable Experience

    FLT driving Clamp licence would be advantageous
